11 unidentified human bodies found in Devon – do you know who they are?

The bodies or partial bodies of 11 people have been found around Devon and police have no idea who they are – although some of the cases date back almost 50 years.

The UK Missing Persons Bureau keeps a log of all unidentified human remains found around teh country, and has a list of 11 found in Devon since the 1960s.

Devon has a higher than usual number of bodies discovered thanks to our wide open countryside and the coastline, where remains are often washed up from miles around.

Many of the bodies found have a number of potential clues – including clothing and personal possessions.

But despite that, their identities remain a mystery.

Can you help police identify any of these 11 people?
