ADDIS ABABA – In a notable development aimed at strengthening agricultural cooperation, Ethiopia’s Minister of Agriculture, Girma Amente, engaged in discussions with his Brazilian counterpart, Paulo Teixeira, Minister of Agricultural Development.



According to Ethiopian News Agency, The Ethiopian delegation, currently on a working visit to Brazil, engaged in extensive talks to explore collaborative opportunities in the agricultural sector, as reported by the Ministry of Agriculture. The primary focus of their visit is to gain insights into Brazil’s successful agricultural practices and initiatives, specifically the strategies employed to overcome production challenges through technological advancements. The delegation also noted Brazil’s achievements in ensuring food security and driving economic growth through agricultural exports. The talks underscore the longstanding diplomatic relations between Ethiopia and Brazil, further enriched by their shared membership in the BRICS bloc.
