Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed Launches ‘Clean Ethiopia’ Initiative to Build Public Restrooms


Addis Ababa — Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed has announced a new initiative aimed at improving urban sanitation through the construction of modern public restrooms across Ethiopia. The project, dubbed ‘Clean Ethiopia’, seeks to enhance the cleanliness and dignity of urban living conditions.



According to Ethiopian News Agency, the initiative includes a fundraising campaign under the theme ‘Clean Cities – Healthy Lives’. Prime Minister Abiy emphasized the role of community involvement in the project and urged all Ethiopians to contribute to the creation of more livable cities. He highlighted this in a message on the social media platform X, calling for nationwide participation.
