Former Ethiopian President Meets with President Erdogan in Ankara

ANKARA – Former Ethiopian President Mulatu Teshome Wirtu met with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan at the Presidential Complex in Ankara. The meeting highlighted ongoing diplomatic relations between Ethiopia and Turkey.

According to Ethiopian News Agency, on the same day, Ethiopian Minister of Foreign Affairs Taye Atske Selassie also held discussions with his Turkish counterpart, Hakan Fidan. These meetings underscore the strong bilateral ties between the two nations, focusing on various areas of cooperation.
