Ethiopian Prime Minister Discusses Continued Collaboration with Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation

Addis Ababa — Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed met with Mark Suzman, CEO of the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation (BMGF), to discuss ongoing and future partnerships. The meeting underscored the foundation’s commitment to supporting Ethiopia’s development in various sectors.

According to Ethiopian News Agency, the discussion with BMGF focused on enhancing support for agriculture, health, nutrition, and inclusive financial systems in Ethiopia. The Prime Minister expressed appreciation for the foundation’s contributions and looked forward to expanded cooperation in these critical areas.
