Endeavor Mining Donates 30 Million FCFA to Support National Culture Week in Burkina Faso

OUAGADOUGOU – Endeavor Mining, through its Houndé Gold operation, has contributed 30 million FCFA to the organization of the 21st edition of the National Culture Week (SNC) in Burkina Faso, an event highlighting the country’s cultural heritage.

According to Burkina Information Agency, President of the National Organizing Committee and Secretary General of the Ministry of Communication, Culture, Arts and Tourism, the donation was received on Monday, April 22, 2024. This marks the second consecutive donation of the same amount from Endeavor Mining to the biennial event, underlining its continued financial support. Tamini emphasized the significance of the contribution, noting it as a strong indicator of Endeavor Mining’s commitment to the national community. He assured that the funds would be judiciously utilized to facilitate various activities planned for the SNC.

Expressing gratitude on behalf of the Minister of Culture and the organizing committee, Tamini thanked Souleymane Boly, the Country Director for Endeavor Mining in Burkina Faso. Boly remarked on the honor of supporting such a pivotal cultural event, especially given the current challenges facing the nation, and highlighted the company’s civic commitment to contributing positively to the community.
