On 10 August 2016, a crime intelligence driven operation was conducted by police in Windsorton. During the operation, information received led to a house where a man was found in possession of a suspected stolen flat screen television set.
The suspect aged 22-year-old was arrested and charged with possession of suspected stolen goods. He appeared in Windsorton Magistrates’ Court on 11 August 2016 and was released on warning to appear again on 08 September 2016.
On a separate incident, intelligence driven information led to the discovery of stolen copper cable at a house in Pabelello. A roll of copper cable estimated to the street value of R40 035-00 was seized and no one was arrested. An enquiry has been opened and police investigation continues.
