Woman stabs man to death in Kuisebmund

_: WALVIS BAY Community members in the Kuisebmund suburb here, was left terrified Saturday afternoon when a dispute between a man and a woman resulted in a tragedy.

According to Erongo Region Namibian Police Force (NamPol) Inspector George Xoagub, the murder occurred at Oryx bar in Kuisebmund area on Saturday at about 16h00 when a woman and a man got into an argument.

The woman stabbed the man twice in the chest, whereby he died on the spot, this according to NamPol’s report. The lady who is 34 years of age, was placed in the custody of NamPol and will appear tomorrow (Monday) in the Walvis Bay Magistrates Court.

Not a lot of information is present at this stage as Police investigations still needs to be concluded. Also, the name of the deceased was withheld as a result of the next of kin not being informed yet, Xoagub stated.
