_: EENHANA: The Northern Regional Electricity Distributor (Nored) has embarked on a safety campaign under its ‘Enhancing Customer Education on Energy Saving, Safety and Service’ initiative.

The campaign kicked off this week during the Eenhana Trade and Business Exposition (Expo), which started on Monday and ends tomorrow.

Speaking to Nampa at the company’s stall today, Nored’s Public Relations Officer (PRO) Herman Ngasia said the campaign mostly focuses on educating visitors to the stand about the dangers associated with electricity.

He noted that a lot of learners have visited the Nored stall, seeking information on safety issues associated with handling electrical appliances.

The company will continue with that campaign at other shows and trade fairs such as at Ongwediva later this month, at Rundu in the Kavango Region and at Outapi in the Omusati Region.
