WINDHOEK: No arrests have been made in connection with the alleged murder of International University of Management (IUM) student Eliakim Kandali Inane yet.
The 31-year-old Inane’s burned body was found in the vicinity of Otjomuise on the western outskirts of the capital last Saturday morning.
The Namibian Police Force (NamPol)’s Khomas Regional Crime Investigations Co-ordinator, Deputy Commissioner Sylvanus Nghishidimbwa told Nampa yesterday that the police are still hard at work tracing the suspect or suspects involved in the alleged killing of the student.
The student is thought to have been attacked while driving a taxi belonging to his cousin.
The vehicle was then apparently set on fire with Inane inside it.
Nghishidimbwa said the motive for the killing is still unknown as nothing was removed from the vehicle.
