The Department has set aside of R17.7-million for youth development this financial year. As per our Provincial Youth Development Strategy, this budget will focus on expanding services such as the 8 provincial Youth Cafes across the province, and providing training and empowerment initiatives such as the Expo.
The Workshop will also give the young participants an opportunity to showcase their business ideas and plans to established medium to large businesses in Robertson, for potential funding or partnership development.
This initiative is in line with the department’s efforts to build a generation of confident and self-reliant youth. The Department will continue to expand services for the youth.
