Scholtz said the Lüderitz event is organised by the constituency office and is not a regional event.
Ngatjizeko is expected to arrive at the harbour town on 24 August, and will hold a consultative meeting with Swapo-Party district executives on the same day.
On 25 August, the minister will meet all unions, mining and fishing industry representatives in the town, as well as the constituency councillors and local authority councillors.
In a separate event, about 59 school board members from the Southern Star Cluster attended a one-day training workshop at the Lüderitz High School on Saturday.
The Southern Star Cluster is made up of schools from Rosh-Pinah, Aus and Lüderitz
Cluster principal Cassius Shanjengange told Nampa on enquiry Sunday that the objectives of the workshop was to educate newly elected board members about the functions of their schools.
He said the training was aimed at making sure that board members are equipped with skills to solve grievances, and govern and administer their schools properly.
Furthermore, the workshop was also geared towards reminding board members to follow the country’s education laws and Constitution of Namibia in their operations.
