Free State hosts Service Delivery Expo, 5 to 7 Dec

Service Delivery Expo

The year 2017 marks 100 years since the birth of our selfless struggle stalwart, the late Oliver Reginald (O.R) Tambo. The year 2017 also marks over eight years since the incumbent Premier of the Free State, Hon. E.S Magashule and his administration took to office, thereby ushering in what we now know as Operation Hlasela, launched in 2009 by the Free State Provincial Government Executive Council, led by the Premier, as an integrated Programme of Action of Government to improve and fast-track service delivery in line with the prescripts of Working Together, We Can Do More. Operation Hlasela has since become a defining feature of the current administration, whose obligation continues to be that of building a caring society through the trajectory of the National Development Plan – Vision 2030, with a focus on radical economic transformation to challenge the persistent ills of unemployment, poverty and inequality.

To take stock of the countless achievements, as part of honouring the legacy of the late martyr of the struggle for Freedom, O.R Tambo, the Free State Government will be showcasing the gains of service delivery in the province, dating back from 2009 to 2017, in a first of its kind Free State Service Delivery EXPO.
