WINDHOEK: The management of the Namibia Football Association (NFA) on Friday released the names of the Brave Warriors’ players invited for a training camp in preparation for the Rwanda friendly match next weekend.
The match takes place here on 13 October.
The NFA said in a media statement availed to Nampa that next week’s international friendly match against Rwanda will be crucial for the national team as they prepare for various important games for next year.
The players invited for the training camp have been asked to report to the Safari Court Hotel in the capital on Sunday, 07 October at 18h00.
They are Arnold Subeb (Black Africa), Virgil Vries (Orlando Pirates), Efraim Tjihonge (Milano United – South Africa), Willem Mwedihanga (Tigers), Larry Horaeb (Ramblers), Denzil Haoseb (Black Africa), Da Costa Angula (Black Africa), Manfred Starke (Hansa Rostock – Germany), Willy Stephanus (Black Africa), Eslin Kamuhanga (Black Africa), Petrus Shitembi (Rundu Chiefs), Neville Tjiueza (Tura Magic), Sadney Urikhob (Civis), Teberius Lombard (Tura Magic), Jamunovandu Ngatjizeko (Africa Stars), Ronald Ketjijere (University of Pretoria – South Africa), Rudolf Bester (Orlando Pirates – South Africa), Henrico Botes (Platinum Stars – South Africa), Heinrich Isaacks (Civics) and Lazarus Kaimbi and Tangeni Shipahu, both from Otsotspa – Thailand.
The Brave Warriors’ caretaker coach is Bernard Kaanjuka.
