Burkina: Restrictions on the import of explosive substances for civilian use
The free marketing and distribution of explosive substances and fireworks for civilian use is suspended for six months. This suspension does not apply to industrial and semi-industrial mining companies, nor to duly constituted quarrying companies, informs the ministry in charge of industrial development.
Article 2: It is exceptionally granted to approved suppliers of mining and quarry companies an exemption from the measure of suspension of the import, marketing and distribution free of charge of explosive substances and fireworks for civil use.
Article 3: The approved suppliers of the mining and quarry companies referred to in article 2 above are: AECI-Burkina Faso;
Bulk mining explosives (BME);
EPC-Burkina Faso;
MAXAM Burkina Faso;
ORICA-Burkina Faso; Multi-Products and Bitumen Company Burkina Faso (SMB-BF).
