Niamey – The newly formed Nigerien NGO ‘Together Hand in Hand Niger-Russia’ commenced its activities on Tuesday, aiming to foster friendship and cooperation between Niger and Russia. The national president of the NGO, Doctor Dicko Mouhamadou, outlined the organization’s mission to support Niger’s economic, social, and cultural development while strengthening bilateral relations.

According to Burkina Information Agency, Dr. Mouhamadou emphasized the importance of overcoming negative stereotypes and promoting mutual understanding through cultural exchanges, educational events, and public awareness initiatives. The NGO plans to organize various activities in Niamey, including humanitarian efforts, educational programs, sports tournaments, film screenings, and international conferences, to facilitate engagement between the two nations and enhance public knowledge on societal and political topics.
