The High Commissioner of Namentenga Province, Adama Conseiga, visited on Tuesday, March 14, 2023, the Vocational Training Center of the Wendkouni Association of Boulsa, with the aim of encouraging staff and learners, three months after its inauguration.

The Vocational Training Center of the Wendkouni Association of Boulsa, three months after its inauguration, received the visit of the High Commissioner, Adama Conseiga, on Tuesday, March 14, 2023, to encourage the staff of the center and the learners as well as the members of the Wendkouni Association.

After having listened to each other in the various workshops, Mr. Conseiga spoke with the provincial directors and the heads of service so that they bring their support to the various concerns raised.

The representatives of the learners of the various workshops (weaving, sewing, auto mechanics), requested equipment for their installation after the training.

They also reiterated their thanks to the President of the Wendkouni Association and their trainers.

Learners wanted specific training in saponification and business management for their integration into the socio-economic fabric.

According to the head of the Center, Zénabo Kadiogo, the workshop for the installation and maintenance of solar panels is not yet operational for reasons of insufficient number of trainees required to support the costs.

The President of the Association Dieudonné Nonaba, said he was honored by the visit and thanked the High Commissioner and his suite.

He said that the Center was inaugurated on December 8, 2022 by the President of the Special Delegation of the commune of Boulsa, Issaka Sangla and has more than a hundred learners.

Annual registration fees amount to 30,000 CFA francs for a period of three years after which a certificate of professional qualification (CQP) is issued.

Japan is the center’s main financial partner.

The women who operate the market gardening perimeter mentioned the low water flow of the castle which prevents the proper development of speculation.

In this regard, possible solutions have been considered.

As a sign of gratitude for the visit and for the interest shown in them, the center offered its first products (vegetables, loincloth Faso danfani) to the High Commissioner.

The High Commissioner praised and encouraged the Association for its initiatives in the fight against unemployment.

He wished that sensitization activities be carried out for better visibility and approval of the Centre.

Adama Conseiga reassured the learners that the various concerns had been taken into account and promised their solution.
