Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Andreas Katsaniotis’ meeting with His Eminence Archbishop Sotirios of Canada (Athens, 20.09.2021)

Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Andreas Katsaniotis received today, September 20, 2021, in his office, His Eminence Archbishop Sotirios of Canada, in the presence of the Secretary General for Greeks Abroad and Public Diplomacy, Mr. Ioannis Chrysoulakis.

During the meeting, which was held in a very cordial atmosphere, the Deputy Minister was briefed on the important pastoral and social work performed by the Archdiocese of Canada, while a special mention was made on the strong presence of Greek expatriates. Finally, the Deputy Minister voiced the Greek government’s support for the continuation of the work of the Archdiocese and expressed his desire to visit Canada.
