Sanematenga/Education: Moussa Ouédraogo installed in his role as regional director

The Governor of the North-Central region, Colonel-Major Zoewendmanego Blaise Ouédraogo, proceeded on Friday, September 22, 2023 in Kaya, to the official installation of the new regional director of Preschool, Primary Education and non- formal of its territorial jurisdiction, Moussa Ouédraogo.

Following his appointment by the Council of Ministers on Wednesday August 30, 2023, the General Inspector of Primary Education, Moussa Ouédraogo, took office on Friday September 22, 2023.

The ceremony was attended by collaborators, parents, friends and acquaintances of the incoming and outgoing directors.

It was the Governor of the North-Central region, Colonel-Major Zoewendmanego Blaise Ouédraogo, who presided over the ceremony consecrating his official installation.

He congratulated the new regional director and gave him advice for a successful mission.

‘You must constantly keep in mind that success is always the child of audacity, teamwork and there is no lone hero,’ he advised the entrant.

raogo noted that the missions assigned to the director of preschool, primary and non-formal education are certainly noble but also synonymous with immense responsibilities.

The regional authority called on education stakeholders to provide the new director with all the necessary support to meet common challenges.

The General Inspector of Primary Education thus replaces Hamidou Guiro, who will be called upon to retire in a few months.

The North Central regional directorate of preschool, primary and non-formal education covers the provinces of Bam, Namentenga and Sanmatenga with a total of 36 basic education districts.
