The Saudi capital, Riyadh, will host on Sunday, June 11, 2023, the tenth session of the Conference of Arab-Chinese Businessmen under the slogan “Cooperation for Prosperity” under the High Patronage of the Crown Prince and Saudi Prime Minister, Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz.

The conference, considered the biggest Sino-Arab economic event and which will last two days, will be opened by Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah

The conference, organized, for the first time in Saudi Arabia, by the Ministry of Investment in partnership with the General Secretariat of the League of Arab States, the Chinese Council for the Promotion of International Trade and the Union of Arab Chambers, aims to consolidate collaboration between the Sino-Arab business community and explore investment opportunities in various fields, including technology, renewable energy, agriculture, real estate, minerals, supply chains and l ‘innovation …

The agenda includes dialogue sessions and bilateral meetings, with the aim of discussing ways that can guarantee prosperity and sustainable development in Arab countries and China.

Khalid Al-Falih, Saudi Minister of Investment, said the Crown Prince’s sponsorship of the event reflects the Saudi leadership’s commitment to fostering strategic partnerships and establishing balanced relations with the various global economic powers in order to achieve mutual benefit.

The Saudi minister said the planned event will be the largest ever and will be an important transition in China-Arab relations, as it includes a rich program marked by the participation of more than 150 speakers between ministers and leaders of major companies. , in China and in Arab countries. It will include eight round tables, 18 workshops and a significant number of special meetings and side events aimed, in their entirety, at presenting qualitative projects, innovative modern technologies and parties that play an important role in consolidating cooperation. in terms of investment and trade between China and Arab countries, and which also aim to strengthen current and future bilateral economic relations.

In addition to the Saudi Foreign Minister, the inauguration of this conference will be attended by the Secretary General of the League of Arab States, Ahmed Aboul Gheit, the Vice-Chairman of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference, Hu Chunhua, the Minister of Investment, engineer Khalid bin Abdulaziz Al-Falih, and a number of Saudi and Arab ministers will attend the dialogue sessions of this conference.

The tenth session of the Arab-Chinese Businessmen’s Conference is the largest Sino-Arab gathering in the field of business and investment, with more than 3,000 decision-makers, senior officials, a wide range of investors, businessmen, specialists and people interested in China-Arab relations from 23 participating countries aiming to strengthen China-Arab strategic partnerships within the framework of the Belt and Road Initiative, in the fields of investment, economy and trade, and to move this partnership forward towards greater prosperity, growth and progress.
