Head of State meets with special envoy of Emir of Qatar

President of the Republic Kaïs Saïed met on Monday at Carthage Palace Qatari Assistant Foreign Minister for Regional Affairs Mohammed bin Abdulaziz bin Saleh Al Khulaifi, special envoy of the Emir of the State of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, who handed him a message from the Emir of Qatar.

Quoted in a press release of the presidency, Saïed stressed Tunisia’s commitment to give a new breath to the relations of exchange and investment as well as to the partnership binding the two countries, through the implementation of bilateral agreements.

President Said mentioned the implementation in Tunisia of projects in areas of common interest.

For his part, the Qatari official stressed his country’s readiness to provide all the support to Tunisia and to consolidate cooperation relations.

On this occasion, the Head of State asked the Assistant Foreign Minister for Regional Affairs to convey his greetings to the Emir of the State of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani.
