Francophonie Days back in Tunisia

The Francophonie Days are back in Tunisia with a varied cultural and artistic programme held throughout March, including plays, documentary and fiction films, comedy festival, debates, comic book workshops, etc.

This 2023 edition will feature a Francophone Film Week on March 13-18 at the French Institute of Tunisia (IFT) with a selection of 14 short and feature films and documentaries from 11 countries, namely Tunisia, France, Switzerland, Austria, Argentina, Senegal, Egypt, Canada, Greece, Burkina Faso and Wallonia-Brussels, reads a press release of the Swiss embassy in Tunis.

The activities of the Francophonie Days are organised each year around March 20 as it marks the International Francophonie Day.

A rich cultural programme will be organised by several Tunisian organisations and representatives of the Francophonie member countries. In this regard, Canada, France, Austria, Switzeralnd, Argentina, Burkina Faso, Senegal, Wallonia-Brussels, Egypt, Greece and the French Alliances of Tunis and of Kairouan propose throughout March workshops, master classes, film screenings, shows and debates on cinema, humour, slam, theatre, literature, comics, etc.
