Police Minister continues monitoring law enforcement efforts to restore law and order in KZN

Police Minister, General Bheki Cele will on Monday 19 July 2021, visit businesses and shopping complexes in Durban and Pietermaritzburg, affected by wide spread looting during last weeks campaign of violence in Gauteng and KwaZulu-Natal.

The purpose of the visits is to assess law enforcement efforts to maintain law and order and ensure that calm has been restored to the affected communities.

Members of the media are invited to join Minister Cele on his visit to Pietermaritzburg and Durban.
