Mineral Resources and Energy acknowledges outcome of High Court setting aside key aspects of Mining Charter

The Department of Mineral Resources and Energy notes the decision of the Court of 21 September 2021 to set aside some of the key aspects of the Mining Charter in the matter brought by the Minerals Council of South Africa. The DMRE together with its legal council is currently studying the court judgement and will communicate further on the matter in due course.
