Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs for Economic Diplomacy and Openness Kostas Fragogiannis’ working visits to Germany and Sweden (12-14.05.2022)

Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs for Economic Diplomacy and Openness Kostas Fragogiannis will travel to Berlin on May 12 to chair the 5th round of inter-ministerial consultations on the Greek-German Action Plan, signed between the two Foreign Ministries in December 2016.

The aim of the Greek-German Action Plan is the continuous strengthening of bilateral relations in areas of mutual interest as well as cooperation towards strengthening the united Europe.

The Ministries of Energy and Environment, Rural Development and Food, Migration and Asylum, Education and Religious Affairs, Labour and Social Affairs, Citizen Protection and Digital Governance will also participate in the consultations at the level of Secretaries General.

On May 13, Mr. Fragogiannis will visit Stockholm, where he will meet with the Minister for Foreign Trade and Nordic Affairs Anna Hallberg. During his stay in the Swedish capital, the Deputy Minister will inaugurate the local branch of the Hellenic-Swedish Chamber of Commerce and will hold meetings with the leaderships of the Confederation of Swedish Enterprise and the Swedish Business Entrepreneurship and Investment Promotion Agency “Business Sweden”.

The agenda of Mr. Fragogiannis’ contacts in Sweden will focus on the strengthening of economic and business relations between the two countries as well as the transfer of know-how from Sweden in matters of technology and innovation.
