Burkina Faso Launches Nationwide Professional Competitions with Enhanced Digital Access


OUAGADOUGOU – The Minister of State for Civil Service, Labor, and Social Protection, Bassolma Bazié, officially initiated the 2024 professional competitions on Sunday in Ouagadougou. This year’s session includes 160 competitions, half of which will be conducted online to accommodate connectivity challenges, and the remaining half in traditional formats across regional capitals.



According to Burkina Information Agency, over 42,000 candidates have registered for various vacancies through the e-competition platform, reflecting a high level of participation facilitated by the availability of multiple registration options. The government has committed to ensuring transparency and fairness in the competition process, with extensive logistical preparations to support candidates and manage the assessments effectively.
