Investment: a $1 billion contract in Egypt for the construction of tires

Egypt will register a contract worth one billion euros ($1.07 billion) with the Rolling Plus for Chemical Industries group for the construction of a tire factory in Egypt. The company will be built on a total area of 400,000 square meters, will ultimately have a total annual production capacity of 7 million tires intended for passenger cars and light and heavy transport vehicles. The first phase will have an annual capacity of 2.5 million units, of which 50% will be sold on the local market.
