Spanish trade union leader denied entry to Tunisia (UGTT)

The Tunisian General Labour Union (UGTT) said the head of cooperation with Africa and Asia within the Spanish General Union of Workers (CEC UGT Spain), Marco Perez Molena, was prevented from entering the Tunisian territory upon his arrival at Tunis-Carthage airport on Thursday.

The UGTT said in a press release the Spanish trade unionist was visiting Tunisia to take part in a workers’ rally planned by the labour organisation for Saturday March 4.
