Burkinabè Army Eliminates Around Forty Terrorists in Nassoumbou Near Malian Border

Ouagadougou—Air assets of the Burkinabè army conducted operations that resulted in the death of around forty terrorists on Monday, October 30, 2023, in the Nassoumbou area of Soum province, situated near the Malian border.

According to Burkina Informational Agency, the Burkinabè army identified the group of terrorists who had arranged to convene under trees near a pond in the Nassoumbou region. The individuals, traveling in pairs on motorcycles, had gathered for a meeting. The army’s aerial vectors targeted them at that moment, eliminating the assembly.

The operations to ensure security and restore territorial integrity in the region are ongoing.
