Minister of Foreign Affairs Nikos Dendias’ statement upon arrival at the working dinner of the Ukraine Recovery Conference (Lugano, 04.07.2022)

I am visiting Lugano today to represent Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis at the Conference organised by the Swiss Government for the recovery of Ukraine.

The Greek position is always clear. It supports international legality, International Law, territorial integrity, good neighbourly relations and human rights.

And also, I am here to recall Prime Minister Mitsotakis’ promise that, when international legality is restored, Greece will rebuild the facilities of the maternity hospital in Mariupol. And it will do everything it can to assist the Greek minority in the areas that have been affected.
