Inter-Ministerial Committee holds meeting with trucking industry, 15 Dec

IMC holds meeting with trucking industry

The Inter-Ministerial Committee represented by the Minister of Employment and Labour, the Minister of Home Affairs, the Minister of Transport and the Minister of Police will today meet the trucking industry.

This meeting follows incidents of blockade of national roads by truck drivers protesting to use of foreign nationals by employers to drive trucks on South African roads and other related issues.

The meeting will see present Minster Thulaz Nxesi, Minister Dr Aaron Motoaledi, Minister Fikile Mbalula, Minister Bheki Cele and representatives of truck drivers.
