Gayéri/CEP 2023: 137 candidates attacking their school parchment

137 candidates including 81 girls and 56 boys from the city of Gayéri, in the province of Komondjari (East) left yesterday Tuesday, to conquer the Certificate of Primary Studies (CEP), session of 2023 .

The province of Komondjari is home to two (02) composition centers for the primary school certificate (CEP) session of 2023. In total, 137 candidates all from the single Basic Education District (CEB) of Gayéri take part in this exam.

The opening of the envelope of the first test marking the beginning of the session was made in the presence of the military authorities, the head of the district and the various actors of the said examination.

It is in a very difficult security context that the head of CEB de Gayéri, Yatenyoua Lucien Ouoba and his brave teachers were able to reopen classes in March 2023 to save the school year.

This was disrupted by terrorist attacks and the blockade of the town of Gayéri, which houses all the schools in the province.

It is in these conditions of psychosis marked every day by fire from the enemies of the nation that the brave teachers and students were able to resist until June 6, 2023 to participate in the CEP exam.

It should be noted that the eastern region is plagued by terrorist attacks, particularly the province of Komondjari, causing victims and many internally displaced persons.
