Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Kosta Ftagogiannis meets with Kosovar Minister of Industry Entrepreneurship and Trade. Rozeta Hajdari (Athens, 24.10.2022)

Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs for Economic Diplomacy and Openness, Kostas Fragogiannis, met this Monday October 24, 2022, with Kosovar Minister of Industry, Trade and Entrepreneurship Rozeta Hajdari, as Greece has an active role in the economic development of the Western Balkans and is interested in strengthening economic relations with Pristina.    

Ms Hajdari is in Athens accompanying a business delegation of 19 Kosovar entities and will attend on Tuesday, October 25, a Business Forum organized by Athens Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ACCI) in cooperation with Enterprise Greece.  Mr. Fragogiannis will address the Forum during which Enterprise Greece will sign a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the corresponding Kosovar investment promotion agency KIESA.

During their meeting, Mr. Fragogiannis and Ms. Hajdari agreed that there is great potential for enhancing economic relations and trade between the two sides in a number of sectors, such as energy, infrastructure and transport, construction, agricultural products, as well as transfer of know-how. Special reference was made to the business opportunities offered in the energy sector from the development of energy corridors in the region.
