Vihiga County Commissioner Advocates for Children’s Rights in Kenya

VIHIGA, Kenya – Felix Watakila, the County Commissioner of Vihiga, has emphasized the importance of respecting children’s rights, highlighting the need to protect them from various forms of abuse. Mr. Watakila’s remarks were made during the children’s service week forum held at the Vihiga law courts.

According to Kenya News Agency, Mr. Watakila expressed concern over the violation of children’s rights within the community, particularly pointing out instances of physical, emotional, and sexual violence against children.
