Burkina: The mediator of Faso submits a 2023-2027 strategic plan to its partners

The mediator of Faso, Fatimata Sanou, submitted to her technical and financial partners, on Tuesday, a strategic plan 2023-2027 for the strengthening of social cohesion in Burkina Faso.

“The mission of the ombudsman of Faso is to work to resolve all that is dysfunction and abuse within the public administration and also to work to resolve community conflicts to strengthen the social fabric,” said the ombudsman of Faso, Fatimata Sanou .

According to the first official, her institution has made a diagnosis of the deterioration of the security climate which has led to tears at the community level.

Fatimata Sanou informs that to meet its challenges the mediator of Faso has adopted a strategic plan which will cover the period 2023-2027.

Around a round table, organized in Ouagadougou, the mediator of Faso invited the technical and financial partners to contribute to good governance and social cohesion.

Mr. Sanou specified that two main strategic axes will be adopted.

“The first axis focuses on good governance and the influence of the institution, the anchoring of the mediator institution of Faso, its effectiveness at the level of the institutional landscape. The second axis is to reduce the social divide through social cohesion and the restoration of peace in Burkina Faso,” she added.

“We have invited government representatives and also technical and financial partners to present this ambitious plan to them in order to have support for its implementation”, concluded the mediator of Faso, Fatimata Sanou.
