Minister of Foreign Affairs Nikos Dendias’ statement upon arrival at the Zappeion Megaron for the inauguration of the exhibition “Improvisations” by the Prime Minister of Albania, Edi Rama (20.03.2023)

“It is a great pleasure for me today to inaugurate Prime Minister Edi Rama’s artwork exhibition, here in Zappeion Megaron, a building full of symbolism.

Aside from that, as regards today’s meeting with my Turkish counterpart in Brussels, I’d like to say that I am fully aware of the difficulties of Greek-Turkish relations, but however you look at it, today is a significant day.

And to understand this, one need only consider where we were just a few weeks ago.
