Minister of Foreign Affairs Nikos Dendias to attend a videoconference of the Ministers of Foreign Affairs of the “3+1” format (Greece, Cyprus, Israel + the USA), Monday, May 9, 2022

Minister of Foreign Affairs, Nikos Dendias, will participate tomorrow, Monday, May 9, at 17:15, in a videoconference with his counterparts from Cyprus, Ioannis Kasoulides, Israel Yair Lapid, and the United States of America, Antony Blinken, in the framework of the “3 + 1” format (Greece, Cyprus, Israel + the USA).

The meeting of the four Foreign Ministers is expected to focus, inter alia, on peace, security and prosperity of the Eastern Mediterranean, energy cooperation, as well as on the promotion of cooperation in the fields of economy, civil protection and climate change.
International developments with an emphasis on the situation in Ukraine are also expected to be examined.

Following the videoconference (at approximately 18:15), there will be a statement by Minister of Foreign Affairs, Nikos Dendias.
