Moustapha Sanon Assumes Role as President of Pama’s Special Delegation

KOMPIENGA – In a ceremony held on Tuesday, February 6, 2024, Moustapha Sanon was officially installed as the president of the special delegation of the commune of Pama, Pama. Due to the challenging security and humanitarian situation in the Eastern region, the event took place in Fada N’Gourma instead of Pama.

According to Burkina Information Agency, Issa Daboné, who presided over the ceremony, Sanon was appointed to his new position by the Council of Ministers on January 24, 2024. The installation was attended by provincial officials and municipal workers.

Sanon was briefed on the dire security and humanitarian conditions facing the commune since 2022 and the community’s high expectations for improvement. He was congratulated on his new role and urged to fulfill the responsibilities entrusted to him effectively.
