Premier Bushy Maape leads Vooma Vaccination Weekend Drive in the Greater Taung Local Municipality, 13 Nov

North West Premier, Kaobitsa Bushy Maape, accompanied by Deputy Minister of Forestry, Fisheries and the Environment Makhotso Sotyu and Members of the Executive Council, will lead the Vooma Vaccination Weekend Drive in the Greater Taung Local Municipality in an effort to encourage people to get vaccinated and help government curb the spread of covid-19. Government plans to achieve population immunity by the end of December 2021.

Premier and the Deputy Minister will this Saturday, 13 November 2021 engage with the Traditional Council of Batlhaping Baga Phuduhucwana Tribal Office. This will be followed by interacting with residents at Taung Mall and Taxi Rank. Later on, the day the Premier and Deputy Minister will address the Vooma Vaccination Weekend Drive event that will be held at Mmabana Taung.

As part of the Vooma vaccination Weekend Drive, Premier Maape will also attend a church service on Sunday, 13 November 2021 to encourage congregants to take their jabs.
