Nayala / Aïd El Kebir: A thought for fallen fighters the day before

Muslims in Toma, Nayala province, celebrated the Eid El Kebir prayer in the city’s grand mosque, in the presence of the High Commissioner, Honoré Frédéric Paré who had a thought for the fighting forces that fell the day before.

It is 8:30 a.m. when the imam Moalim Assami Paré enters the Tabaski prayer area, located near the roundabout Gué Issa Paré, in Toma.

The celebrant proceeds to the prayer of the two rakats. After this stage, the imam’s son, Lassina Paré sacrificed the ram, thus giving the possibility to the Muslim faithful to proceed to the sacrifice of the sheep.

Present at the place of the ceremony, the high commissioner of the province of Nayala, Honoré Frédéric Paré wished a happy holiday to all the Nayala people.

He had a pious thought for the Defense and Security Forces (FDS) and Volunteers for the Defense of the Homeland (VDP) who fell the day before in the Namsiguia area.

He wished for the return of all internally displaced persons to their respective villages.
