Minister of Foreign Affairs Nikos Dendias to visit Egypt (Cairo – 9.10.2022)

Minister of Foreign Affairs, Nikos Dendias is travelling to Cairo tomorrow, Sunday, October 9, 2022, to hold talks with his Egyptian counterpart, Sameh Shoukry.

The Foreign Ministers of Greece and Egypt will have a one-on-one meeting followed by expanded talks.

Joint statements to the press are expected to take place at approximately 14:00 (EEST).
The Minister of Foreign Affairs’ visit to Cairo falls within the framework of the strategic relations between Greece and Egypt and the regular contacts between the two Foreign Ministers on issues of mutual interest.

Talks are expected to focus on bilateral relations as well as on the latest developments in the Aegean, Middle East, and Libya.
