Youth Group ‘Waiyan’ Expresses Support for President Traoré at National Culture Week

BOBO-DIOULASSO—During the opening ceremony of the 2024 National Culture Week (SNC), a group of young people from the Waiyan, part of the National Coordination of Citizen Watch in Bobo, displayed their support for the President of the Transition, Captain Ibrahim Traoré. The youth group actively participated, holding framed photos of President Traoré and dancing to the performances at the event.

According to Burkina Information Agency, a member of Waiyan, the group appreciates President Traoré’s efforts and his role in the country’s governance since taking office. They praised his honesty and his inclusive approach to supporting various segments of the society, including the disadvantaged. The group voiced a strong desire for President Traoré to remain in power, reflecting their approval of his leadership and policies.
