Incident at sea: Opening of a judicial investigation (Prosecution)

The Oujda prosecutor’s office ordered, on August 29, the opening of an investigation, based on the statements of a person claiming to have been a victim, with 4 other young people , of a violent incident at sea, indicates a judicial source.

The five people, who were on board jet skis, were lost at sea during a leisure outing, indicates the same source.

The prosecution gave instructions to the Royal Gendarmerie in Oujda, in order to collect the necessary information on the circumstances of the said incident, it is added. As part of the investigation, several people from the families and entourage of this group of young people were interviewed.

The prosecution told MAP that the investigation is currently continuing.
