Rare Two-Headed Baby Born in Southern Ethiopia


Addis Ababa: A unique medical case emerged from Wachamo University Queen Eleni Comprehensive Specialized Hospital in Southern Ethiopia, where a baby boy with two heads was delivered through minor surgery.



According to Ethiopian News Agency, The baby, born to a mother of five, weighed 4.2 kilograms and had a normal gestation period. Dr. Basazen Tasew, the head of the Pediatrics department, reported that the baby is currently healthy but faces potential developmental challenges. A dedicated team of doctors is closely monitoring the baby’s condition, ensuring he receives the necessary medical attention.
