Young Man Killed by Lightning Strike in Banfora

BANFORA — A young man, approximately 20 years old, died after being struck by lightning in Lèna, a village within the Banfora commune. The incident occurred on the evening of Sunday, May 5, 2024, during a heavy rainstorm.

According to Burkina Information Agency, the victim was fatally injured by the lightning strike and died at the scene.
