President extends condolences to Minister in the The Presidency Mondli Gungubele

President Ramaphosa has expressed his deep condolences to Minister in The Presidency, Mr Mondli Gungubele, on the loss of his 32-year-old son, Karabo Gungubele.

Karabo Gungubele passed away on Heritage Day, 24 September, after a short illness.

President Ramaphosa’s thoughts and prayers are with Minister Gungubele and his family as well as Karabo’s social and professional circle.

“We stand by Minister Gungubele and his family as they come to terms with this untimely and sudden loss of a beloved son and a talented young South African.”
