Arab Coordination Group Pledges $50 Billion for African Climate Resilience

Riyadh: In a significant move to address climate change challenges in Africa, the Arab Coordination Group has pledged up to $50 billion in funding until 2030. This initiative, announced ahead of the upcoming United Nations Climate Change Conference (COP28), aims to strengthen infrastructure supporting resilience and inclusive societies across the African continent.

According to Africa News Agency, Chairman of the Islamic Development Bank (IDB) Group, the declaration was made at the economic conference of the Saudi-African summit on November 9.
