Young Africans won thanks to two goals from Fiston Kalala Mayélé (8th) and Ducapel Moloko (68’).

Earlier in the day, US Monastir defeated TP Mazembe thanks to a goal from Aboubacar Traore (3’).

At the end of the day, the Tunisians were on top of Group D with 10 points and had secured one of the top two spots qualifying for the quarter-finals with two days to go in the group stage.

It is a historic quarter-final qualification for the Tunisian club, who are making their second appearance at the continental showpiece.

Young Africans, who are second on seven points, have taken out an option for qualification, before they will face US Monastir on March 19.

The third place goes to TP Mazembe (3 points), who are still in contention for a place in the quarter-finals, while AS Real Bamako, who are in the last place on 2 points, are eliminated.
