Kenyan Economy Records Significant Growth Boosted by Agriculture


NAIROBI: Kenya’s economy has shown a notable year-on-year growth, as reported by the National Bureau of Statistics (KNBS). In the third quarter of 2023, the country experienced a growth rate of 5.9%, a significant increase from the 4.3% recorded during the same period in 2022.



According to Africa News Agency, This growth underlines the robust performance of the Kenyan economy, with agriculture playing a pivotal role in this upward trajectory. The sector’s contribution to the economy has been instrumental in achieving this marked increase in the growth rate.
