Military Court in Baidoa Executes Three for Murder

BAIDOA, Somalia – The Military Court in the Southwest State of Somalia carried out the execution of two army men and one policeman in relation to murders committed in 2018 and 2023, respectively.

According to News Releases by Somali National News Agency, Hussein Ali Moalim Iman Gurey and Abdiwahid Ali Sheikh Adan were executed for the killing of Muhidin Mohamed Abdirahman on June 18, 2018, in the garden of Qurun Jiis in Baidoa. Abdullahi Ibrahim Yarow, a police officer, was also executed for the killing of Isgowe Mohamed Adan on June 3rd of this year following a dispute over a fired gun.
